Jason S. Turner, PhD
After spending a number of years in the healthcare sector on both the payer and provider side, my wife, children and I transitioned from Ohio and Missouri and settled into Chicago. We are all excited about the opportunities in this very dynamic healthcare and higher education environment.
I teach coursework in healthcare finance, insurance, economics, revenue cycle management, strategy, leadership, and population health. I am currently the Vice Dean (and named Interim Dean) in the College of Health Sciences at Rush University and a trustee for the Village of Bannockburn. In the past I have directed health service management education for an MPH program, worked at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, have served as the program director for a top ten residential Master of Health Administration program, served on boards of trustees (universities and professional associations), and have done my best to fulfill multiple school, department, community, and national committee obligations.
